Traffic Statistics

MRTG is used to poll counters from all switches every two minutes. Data is fed into a round robin database (RRD) with data aggregation. Granularity (average) for the daily graph is 15 minutes. Granularity (average) for the yearly graph is one day. The statistics are updated every five minutes.

Sflow is used to collect traffic samples from all switches. These information is aggregated for five minutes and fed into a round robin database (RRD). Granularity (average) for the daily graph is five minutes. Granularity (average) for the monthly graph is sixty minutes. The statistics are updated every five minutes.
