Junior Business Development Manager (m/f)

We are looking for a Junior Business Development Manager for our Frankfurt office. Business development at DE-CIX combines sales, marketing and product management responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT - “abgeschlossene Kaufmännische/ technische Berufsausbildung”, or in a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Relevant work experience: 1-4 years of experience in telecommunications or related industry. Carrier/ISP experience preferred.

Skills:

• Fluent in spoken and written German
• Good command of the English language is a must
• Experience in working with service providers / carriers
• Must possess knowledge of internet services (IP-Transit, IP-Peering, Layer 2 services)
• Must be able to handle multiple projects at one time
• Must demonstrate ability to position DE-CIX services
• Proficiency with full MS Office Suite and Internet applications
• Must possess the ability to create text for brochures, websites and product descriptions in English

Responsibilities:

• Assist Director of Business Development in presentations and proposals to prospective customers
• Acquire customers in the territory/ region assigned for developing business.
• Stay updated on trends in the industry and market developments in this sector.
